Yoga Master Ulrica Norberg is a researcher and a thinker and has been creative and contemplative throughout her life, always with the intention to find ways to evolve in body, mind and soul. She found meditation and yoga as a young teenager in the early nineties when she lived in the U.S. and studied. Her journey began with Zen Buddhist studies, followed by nearly three decades of exploring and deeply studying different styles of classical and modern aspects of yoga and meditation in Asia, India and the US.
With an integrated mind how things function and influence energy, Ulrica has spent many years studying physiology, anatomy, philosophy, Psychology and bio-energy. She is now settled in the ISHTA-yoga line and is one of their yoga masters and lead trainers in their teacher training courses, as well as a master teacher in various specialized trainings. She has added Yin yoga to ISHTA and has developed the ISHTA Yin Yoga Specialty program together with Alan Finger.
Since the nineties, she has played an important role in the growth of yoga in Europe and has trained more than 600 yoga teachers around the world.
Ulrica has a highly developed desire to travel and has a sincere fascination for culture and diversity, which has allowed her to live abroad for years before settling in Stockholm, which is her basis and from which she travels to workshops, Retreats and trainings.

SAHAM Flow-Refind The power in yourself-
Step on your mat with the intention to achieve more balance. Here Ulrica will lead you with attitudes developed for this purpose, which focus on strength, energy and inspiration. You will learn that you have the ability to let go of what is restrictive. This can be physical tension, muscles that do not want to ‘ work ‘ and are hindered. But also spiritual barriers that ‘ lock ‘ your body in certain situations. Everyone naturally possesses the power of letting go.
With this in mind, this lesson is about finding a yoga practice that not only makes you stronger, but also gives you what you need, takes care of you and opens you with the goal of creating an elevated circulation through beautiful rotations and inversions. The energy in the body is flowing through a succession of postures, which work to increase mobility and stability in the spine, in breathing and in the mind.

Power and Recovery-
This afternoon begins with Ulrica, who just launched her book on Restorative Yoga, which is about the art of restoring energies. After the Satsang and a short break, Ulrica accompanies you through a sweet and gentle dynamic yoga practice to relieve some stress and physical tension. Then spend a good hour restoring the connective tissue and nervous system through yin yoga and recovering yoga. When your eyes close, the lesson goes seamlessly into pranayama, meditation, and wonderfully long Savasana.
After that, it is wonderful to feel calm and to check what this session has done with you. The happy and curious thoughts that this is to be tapped. And the notion of discovering that our soul is such a fantastic ‘ comrade ‘ to live with.
In this lesson, Ulrica will provide a lot of information about how we can actively connect the action with the passive and what benefits it entails.

What is Prana? Pranayama? Breath? Why does yoga so much focus on breathing? Why is it so important to breathe? What is consciously breathing? Our breath is our super strength according to Ulrica and if we can learn to breathe better, we can tap into our inner potential.
In this lesson it is about breathing and pranayama, which we can use in a way, to maintain good health and achieve. How to create a better breath flow on and off the mat. We look at what it takes to create a balanced breath and breathing pattern. How we can work with the breath in our body as we practice yoga and how we can influence our breath through the asana.
Pranayama, the breath technology of yoga is about better managing our energy, training our physiological base and creating a better platform for energy, strengt, and focus. To unlock the pranic blockages and what we mean by that.
We will practice various familiar techniques and elaborate on the practice, the method/adjustments/continuity.

Welcome to a soulful journey on the mat that begins with an inspiring reading of Ulrica on the subject individuality. This is a lesson where we are more meditative and deliberately moving to connect with what moves us into life; That inner power or spirit. We rely on the breath, move with intention and let the moment lead us to explore yoga in the body, rather than the spirit. You will deepen your yoga practice by being present in this rhythmic, moving lesson. Discover. and make yourself liquid, fluid, sensual and organic. Go on research. Looking for awareness. Wont be. No boundaries. None: I must or I should. Only you, your mat, the yoga exercises, soulful music/sounds and some breath.
